Kate started practicing yoga in 1998 to balance out the physical stress of her running habit and the mental stress of working in the software industry. During the years since, she has turned a weekend hobby into her vocation. With more than 1,000 hours of teacher training under her belt, Kate brings a breadth of experience to her teaching.

This class is intended for students who are new to yoga as well as those hoping to learn more about finding their best alignment in each of the poses. Each class will provide a complete yoga session, with additional emphasis on the "poses of the week." Although the class is intended to provide a progressive learning experience over eight weeks, new students may join at any time.
