Heather began practicing at Savannah Power Yoga in 2013 with the encouragement of her daughter, Jennifer. Heather grew in her practice through involvement in the wide variety of classes and workshops sponsored by Savannah Power Yoga, including Clean, 40 Day Transform and Renew, the Om Provence Retreat, the Yoga Relay and many others. Heather saw the amazing opportunities for expansion of services to a new and growing community of yogis with the opening of Spry. She joined the first class of teacher trainees for Spry and completed the program in November 2018. She loves working with the students in the Spry community, helping them to experience the joy of a rich yoga practice. Her favorite part of being a member of Savannah Power Yoga is the community of supportive yogis who continue to enrich her life.
 

Kate Doran

Certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa Teacher, RYT500
 
Kate started practicing yoga in 1998 to balance out the physical stress of her running habit and the mental stress of working in the software industry. During the years since, she has turned a weekend hobby into her vocation. With more than 1,000 hours of teacher training under her belt, Kate brings a breadth of experience to her teaching.

We start this class sitting in a chair, and progress to a series of standing poses. Half way through we get down on the floor and finish the class with a series of seated and reclining postures.

You only have to get up and down from the floor once. If getting up from the floor is challenging for you, we will teach you how to do this both with and without the help of a chair.

In this class we follow the Spry Mind+Body Blueprint. Together, we will quiet our minds, and build strength and flexibility throughout our entire body.

All of our Chair + Mat classes are suitable for brand new students.

Community Class Price: $8 or you can use your unlimited class pass.
