Retreat to the old world where time seems to move a little more slowly, dinners last for hours and everything tastes better. We will begin or end each day with yoga and meditation,  bookending carefully curated excursions that will immerse you in the local flavors of  Provence.

The region of Provence in the southeast corner of France is the jewel of the Mediterranean. Best known for its dazzling Riviera it is also an area of striking contrasts and a merging of diverse cultures. Flanked by the Alps, the Rhone River delta and the sea, this land of 3 millions inhabitants is rich in culture and history.

Cezanne, Van Gogh and other impressionist painters came for the extraordinary light and rich landscapes. From the lush fields of lavender and sunflowers, to the craggy rocky hinterland scented with wild thyme and rosemary, this land is known for its truffles, melons, figs, almonds and olives as well as its crisp white wine from Cassis and its red Cote du Rhone.

Kim Norvell

E-RYT 200
Certified Baptiste Teacher

Kim was introduced to yoga for the first time in February 2011 by a roller derby teammate. After years of wanting to try yoga, she agreed to attend a class. It was exactly what she needed to balance out her Type A personality and passion for a female aggressive sport. She quickly discovered that a regular Baptiste Power Yoga practice not only suited her physically, but transformed her mental state as well, allowing her to find a more peaceful and loving way of life.
