Savannah Power Yoga’s 200 Hour Teacher Training program is divided into two modules, designed for both new and existing yoga teachers.
Yoga 101 consists of the foundations of yoga: asana, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, history and philosophy.
Advanced Vinyasa Teacher Training focuses on the techniques for teaching a powerful vinyasa yoga class.
Savannah Power Yoga is a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance. Successful completion of the 200 Hour program will make students eligible to register with Yoga Alliance. If you are looking to become a certified yoga teacher, you should take both parts of the program. If you are already a certified teacher, and looking to focus on becoming a powerful vinyasa yoga teacher, the Advanced Vinyasa Teacher Training module is designed for you and will give you YA CEU's.

Advanced Vinyasa Teacher Training Curriculum
If you are an RYT-200 certified vinyasa yoga teacher and are looking to take your teaching to the next level, this program is designed for you. Join Kate Taylor for this 100 hour program designed to teach you the skills to go from good to great. This program involves training, coaching, and self-inquiry.
This program is not about learning sanskrit, studying lots of ancient texts, or deconstructing each asana, you did this in Yoga 101 or your previous yoga certification program. In this program we will engage in self-study and do lots of practice teaching. You may already be a good yoga teacher. My hope is that you are looking to be a great teacher - which means you are an inspiration to your students, you see your students as higher beings, and hold up the mirror of insight for them. Your own practice and self-study are essential in this journey. True teaching comes from the heart and not from the head. To teach in this manner you will need to get out of your head and learn to tap into your own higher being.
You will learn:
• a powerful vinyasa method suitable for teaching all levels of students
• how to lose the script and teach with your own authentic voice
• how to bring your own inner wisdom to your teaching
• how to give and receive feedback
• how to empower your students and help them reach their personal potential
This program is based upon the Baptiste Power Vinyasa method but is suitable for any power/vinyasa teacher hoping to master the art of teaching with ease, from the heart.
The training will be conducted from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 pm each day, over the course of 5 weekends:
September 8-9
October 6-7
October 27-28
November 17-18
December 8-9
Program participants will be required to attend all weekends and practice teach with their peers between the scheduled weekend sessions.
