Emily Spencer

Emily started practicing yoga as a teenager to recover from swimming and cross country. She fell in love with the practice and has been exploring the teachings of yoga ever since. She obtained her RYT200 in 2012 and has taught in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Indiana before putting roots down in Savannah, teaching primarily vinyasa flow and yin.

She just completed her RYT 500 training with Jason Crandell in 2023. She is passionate about making the benefits of yoga accessible and more approachable, helping people of all ages move and breathe with more freedom. She also teaches teens tools for athletic recovery and self regulation, and chair yoga to improve mobility.

Outside of the studio she stays busy felt crafting, jewelry making and watercolor painting. Her son is her greatest teacher and you can find them kayaking and adventuring through the marshes.

  • This class is taught live, online, using our Zoom platform. In just one hour you will stretch your muscles, build strength, find your balance, open your hips, get upside down and enjoy some stillness. You will leave feeling refreshed and invigorated. This class follows the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga methodology and is suitable for beginners and experienced yogis. 

  • Power Hour | WILMINGTON ISLAND
  • In just one hour you will stretch your muscles, build strength, find your balance, open your hips, get upside down and enjoy some stillness. You will leave feeling refreshed and invigorated. This class follows the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga methodology and is suitable for beginners and experienced yogis. If you are practicing with us in the studio, this class is heated to 90+ degrees.

  • Donation Based Power Hour | WILMINGTON ISLAND
  • Our Donation Based classes invite you to pay what you can, on a sliding scale.

    In just one hour you will stretch your muscles, build strength, find your balance, open your hips, get upside down and enjoy some stillness. You will leave feeling refreshed and invigorated. This class follows the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga methodology and is suitable for beginners and experienced yogis.

    This class is heated to 90+ degrees.


  • Spry Power | ONLINE
  • This is live, online class taught on our Zoom platform. This gentle class will introduce a modified version of sun salutations and invite you to move with your breath in a slow flow.

    All of our Spry Mind+Body classes are designed to support healthy aging and/or recovery from injury/illness. In this class we will get up and down more from the mat than we do in our other Spry classes, increasing mobility, while building strength and stamina.


  • Spry Power | WILMINGTON ISLAND
  • This gentle class will introduce a modified version of sun salutations and invite you to move with your breath in a slow flow. All of our Spry Mind+Body classes are designed to support healthy aging and/or recovery from injury/illness. In this class we will get up and down more from the mat than we do in our other Spry classes, increasing mobility, while building strength and stamina. This class is not heated.

  • Spry Mat | ONLINE
  • Join us for a live-streamed class from the comfort of your own living room!

    The mat class begins seated on the floor and progresses through a series of seated then standing poses. We come back to the mat to close the practice.


  • Spry Mat | WILMINGTON ISLAND
  • Our Spry Mat class begins seated on the floor and progresses through a series of seated then standing poses before coming back to the mat to finish the practice.

    All of our Spry Mind+Body classes are designed to support healthy aging and/or recovery from injury/illness. This class is suitable for brand new students who are comfortable getting up and down from the floor.

    This class is NOT HEATED.


  • Donation Based Spry Mat | OFFSITE
  • Our Spry Mat class begins seated on the floor and progresses through a series of seated then standing poses before coming back to the mat to finish the practice.

    All of our Spry Mind+Body classes are designed to support healthy aging and/or recovery from injury/illness. This class is suitable for brand new students and those with osteoporosis.
    This class is NOT HEATED. This class is taught offsite at the Frank G. Murray Center. Please call (912) 898-3320 to reserve a spot.
